On the 25th of February we are hosting our annual school triathlon/duathlon at Auroa School again.  This is an event that focuses on children participating in physical activity.  We have provided the options of either a tri or duathlon so that all children can participate on the day by bringing their togs, if they can not bring a bike.

Our courses this year are going to be split up into 4 different categories.
Beginner - 1 lap of the field running, 2 laps of the court on a bike or scooter, 1 width of the pool
Junior - 1 lap of the field running, 1 lap of the field on their bike, 1 width of the pool swimming
Intermediate - 2 laps of the field running, bike 4km on the road (supervised), 40m swim (2 lengths)
Advanced - 2 laps of the field running, bike 4km on the road (supervised), 100m swim (5 lengths)

All the duathlon's will be the same as above but will not have the bike parts involved.  Entry is free and their will be a sausage sizzle on the day as a fundraiser for the PTA.  The triathlon starts at 11am with the first event being the beginners duathlon.  Families are welcome to stay after the event and have lunch with their children.
